As farmers and homeowners battle this summer's drought, so too is the city of Steinbach.  Russ Dyck of Parks and Recreation tells us they really had to keep on top of watering.  He says it's especially important with the flowers, so they don't wilt.  As a result of the grass growing slow, crews have had more time to focus on watering.  Meantime, Dyck adds none of the outdoor summer recreation programs have had to be cancelled because of the hot weather.
